elHood is now Cyloop!
What???
So here’s the deal: elHood.com started out as a site mainly for Latin Americans and Hispanics to enjoy their favorite artists. But over the course of the last year, we’ve grown so much, we’ve been a hit in such unexpected places, that we realized we had to take our site to a new level – and Cyloop was born!
Why Cyloop?
The name “Cyloop” highlights one of the most distinctive features about our site – the interactive Loop. Unlike other music web portals, Cyloop allows users to create music playlists with a simple drag-and-drop interface just like a desktop application. These customized, networked playlists, or Loops, can be accessed from anywhere on the Internet. The ability to create interactive, streaming playlists is a very powerful feature that allows you to engage with the artists’ music on our site actively and continually.
In addition to our new name, we’re also unveiling a new look and feel to the site. We now have a radio player, where you can create your own custom radio stations and have access to our preset Loops; plus newer, cooler music and video players that include artist and album info; better search tools; and tab navigation that’s easier to use.
Sounds pretty cool, huh?
We are still a Hispanic community at heart, but our reach – as well as the variety of artists we offer – is expanding at an incredible rate. With Cyloop, we hope to bring you a wide variety of music catalogs, videos, pictures and interactive features, as well as top-notch, exclusive content that will, basically, knock your socks off.
